Deep Woods: conifer body oil

Ok, let me tell you about this oil. For the last 5 months, I’ve been gathering little bits of pine resin on my daily walks, bringing them home, and adding them to a big jar of jojoba oil. This oil takes *time* to gather, time to make, time to infuse. There’s the underlying notes of pine resin, then it’s infused with white fir needles for a month, and then I add essential oils of white fir, pinion, Douglas fir. But the final result is this unbelievable thing: the scent is so multi-layered, and smells like nothing you can find anywhere.

The oil itself is deeply nourishing: the infused resin helps to create a nice protection for your skin in the winter, and then it’s invigorating— all those aromatics from the conifer really help to stimulate circulation and brighten your mood. It’s like a forest bath in a bottle. I’ll have a handful of these available, and when they’re gone, they’re gone.
